BACKGROUND

Organizational Design is dynamic process where the organization creates organization structure and processes to meet new challenges and creates new opportunities.  Managers must have the capacity and flexibility to change quickly.  We invite papers on: knowledge management, organizational learning, misfit or misalignment evaluation and management, organizational adaptation to fast changing environments, virtual organizations, which examine time and space relationships, information systems in organizations, incentives in information rich organizations, leadership and organization, organizational climate and culture, among others.  Papers which address organizational design change and dynamics explicitly are particularly welcome.

The research methods of organizational design are multiple and include: longitudinal data and analysis, simulation and computational models, field studies of organizations, in-depth case studies, and theoretical studies of organizations including contingency theory.  In all, we are particularly interested in the effect of the choice of organizational designs on the organization’s performance.
