EARIE Online JobMarket

As part of the EIASM network, the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE) offers its online JobMarket as a free service designed for recruiting junior scholars (PhDs and PhD candidates, assistant professors, associate and full professors, etc.) whose chosen specialisation lies within the greater fields of Industrial Economics and Industrial Organisation.

The main purpose of the EARIE JobMarket is to provide public internet access to relevant employment opportunities (mainly but not exclusively within the realm of higher education and research institutions), in order to facilitate finding a good match between prospective employers and potential employees (in particular, young professionals).

Interested recruiters (universities, research institutions, private companies, individuals, etc.) have the opportunity to post on the EARIE JobMarket website free-of-charge a PDF job posting or description of their current and upcoming openings. The only prerequisite is that one already has or is willing to provide a user profile in the EIASM database (at no cost) in order to be recognised as belonging to the EIASM network. (Visit the EIASM home page at www.eiasm.org for details on how to login and create / update a profile.)

Candidates seeking employment should either already hold a PhD degree or be close to defending a PhD dissertation. If interested in a job that's posted, unless otherwise stipulated (by the posting organisation), the candidate should be prepared to provide a CV (in PDF) specifying the name of the school or institution, the date of (expected) graduation, fields of interest, a current e-mail address, and the names and coordinates of at least three references. Serious candidates may also wish to consider having a job market paper ready for inspection (e.g., a published article or a letter of interest / intent) – perhaps accessible on their personal or professional website.

ATTENTION: Due to heightened internet security regulations and privacy restrictions, those seeking jobs are no longer able to register themselves or post their CVs online via this public website.

[Please refer to the EIASM Privacy Statement for information regarding the use of your Profile and the potential risks of posting documents such as CVs on the Internet.]
