"Corporate Governance for Sustainable Value Creation“

ESG and CSR are in ascendance but have well known limitations. These include the lack of a comprehensive approach that relegates many pressing societal challenges, an over-emphasis on image, or gaps between intention/reporting and actual impact on society. Using the value creation and appropriation (VCA) framework, a value creation rating can put business models at the center of the sustainability debate. This innovative firm level approach to sustainable governance is paralleled at the macro level with the acclaimed „Global Elite Quality Index“ by Tomas Casas & Guido Cozzi (see, EQx2020).

Dr. Tomas Casas is Director of the China Competence Center of the Research Institute for International Management and Assistant Professor at the University of St. Gallen/Switzerland, while Visiting Professor at various universities in China and Russia.
