KEYNOTE SPEAKERS


Professor Charl de Villiers

Charl de Villiers is Professor of Accounting at The University of Auckland, New Zealand. He is internationally known for his Sustainability Accounting and Integrated Reporting research and expertise. Charl is also an adjunct professor at the University of Cape Town, University of Pretoria, and University of the Western Cape, in South Africa; and Universiti Teknologi Mara, in Malaysia. Charl has over 400 research based publications and presentations, including more than 100 articles in refereed journals, and two Routledge published edited books, namely Sustainability Accounting and Integrated Reporting (2018), and The Routledge Handbook of Integrated Reporting (2020). He has published in Accounting, Organisations and Society; Journal of Management; Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal; British Accounting Review; and European Accounting Review, among other journals. As an indication of impact, his research has been cited more than 10,000 times and his h-index is 50, i.e. 50 of his research publications have been cited at least 50 times. A Stanford University study ranks Charl 49th among the 4,377 accounting academics globally, based on citations during 2021, also placing him in the top 2% of scientists worldwide. In 2022, he was inducted into the AAAJ/APIRA Hall of Fame, which has a small and exclusive membership (currently 26), for outstanding contributions to the interdisciplinary accounting research community.


Professor Daniela Mancini

Daniela Mancini is Professor of Performance Measurement at University of Teramo (Italy). She worked for several years at the University of Pisa and at the Parthenope University of Naples. She has been visiting professor at IESEG Business School and Catholique University of Lille. She has a range of interrelated research interests in Accounting Information Systems, Business Networks, Management Control Systems, Performance Measurement and Non-financial disclosure. She has been track chair at the ItAis, Mcis and Ecis Conferences. Her prior works have been published in many academic, business and professional periodicals, particularly she has published in Journal of Management and Governance; the International Journal of Digital Accounting Research; Technological Forecasting and Social Change; Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal; International Journal of Accounting Information Systems; Management Decision and Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, among other journals. She is co-editor of the International Journal of Digital Culture and Electronic Tourism; Management Control and serves on editorial boards of several journals and series.

BACKGROUND

The 1st EIASM Interdisciplinary Conference on “Management, Information Technologies and Computer Sciences"– in collaboration with the Faculty of Management Economy and Sciences of the Catholic University of Lille – will be held in person in Lille on 25th and 26th May 2023.

The Conference is intended to start creating a forum for academic interdisciplinary exchange on theoretical and empirical research in the broad area of interconnexion between Management and Information technology of Computer Sciences and promote an interdisciplinary knowledge in the fields of information engineering, new technologies, business management and current legal regulations.

We encourage the submission on scientific contribution in computer and data science with the rigorous thinking of management, blending traditional research in management, entrepreneurship, law with, coding, artificial intelligence, data management, cybersecurity and blockchain.

The Conference will be an excellent opportunity for a variegated audience of international and national academic and professional participants to share their knowledge and establish original new conversations. The event will feature inspirational keynote speakers of very high profile and provide rich networking opportunities in the dynamic city of Lille.

Situated just 400 metres from one another, Lille’s two train stations are located in the city centre and are served by both the subway and the tram.

Lille Flandres Station: TER regional trains and direct TGV service to Paris.

Take the M2 Metro Line at Gare Lille Flandres following the direction of St. Philibert
Get off at Cormontaigne.
