The target audience of the young scholar track are PhD students in their last year, post-doctoral researchers or early career researchers. If you in are one of these categories please submit via the link below and write YST before the title of your paper in the online form, title field (YST - Title of paper).
Full papers or extended abstracts with preliminary results (no limit on number of pages) can be submitted for this track.

Note: if you are a submitter through the YST, please do not register ONLINE. You will receive instructions from EIASM. ONLINE REGISTRATION - closed How to Reach Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa (Via dei Cartari 18) from Palermo Airport:
1. Bus: You can take a bus operated by Prestia and Comandé directly from Palermo Airport to the Via Roma 265 stop (approx. 45 minutes). The cost of the ticket is €6.50. From the Via Roma 265 stop, the hotel is a 500-meter walk (about 5 minutes). Buses are available outside the arrival area of the airport.
2. Train: Take a train from Palermo Airport to the Central Station (Stazione Centrale - approx. 50 minutes). The cost is approximately €7. The train station is located on the lower level (piano -1) of the airport under the arrivals area. Remember to validate your ticket at the machine before boarding the train. From the Central Station, it is a 900-meter walk (about 15 minutes) to the hotel.
3. Taxi: Official taxis from Palermo Airport to the hotel have a fixed fare of €50 (approx. 35 minutes).
Please note that the hotel is located in Palermo city center. If you choose a hotel outside the city center, plan your transfer accordingly, as local transportation services may experience delays compared to their timetables. Public taxis are available with kilometer-based fares (call +39 091 6878).
Cancellations made before September 20, 2024 will be reimbursed minus 20% of the total fee. No reimbursement will be possible after that date. Payments should be made by :
