9TH INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON TEAMWORKING (IWOT 9)

WORKSHOP FOCUS AND THEMES

The aim of this international workshop is to bring together researchers interested in the issues raised by teamworking. The workshop will include work from a variety of perspectives, disciplinary backgrounds and geographical areas. While papers are welcome on any aspect of teamworking, one focus of the workshop will be on the question of the sustainability of teams and team effectiveness. Special streams can be organized around teamworking in the automotive industry, Quality Management Systems, working conditions and working teams, enterprise networks and teamworking, information systems management to support teamworking or on new forms of work organization in traditional industries (textile, shoemaking). Empirical work in general is favoured.

NATURE OF THE WORKSHOP

The workshop will be small and participative: it will be a two-day event made up of 35-50 participants. In parallel paper sessions, authors can briefly present their paper, after which the floor is open for general discussion. For each paper there are about thirty minutes.
