Intangibles and IC between Theory and Practice: An Update

The 7th EIASM Interdisciplinary Workshop on Intangibles, Intellectual Capital & Extra-Financial Information is set to take place at Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland. This annual EIASM conference provides an invaluable opportunity for researchers from various disciplines to meet colleagues and to present and discuss their research in this continuously expanding field. The importance of the field of Intangibles and Intellectual Capital is demonstrated by the large number of scholars that participated during prior editions of this event where new ideas, upcoming models, and practical experiences are shared to increase the soundness of results in an epistemological perspective.
Especially during the post-crisis business environment, in which the relevance of intangibles resources shows a new dynamic profile, the meeting of experiences and research work is crucial for the development of the field. For quite some years the EIASM Workshops have provided an important contribution in this direction, which appears to be largely recognized by the scientific community.
In light of the above, research related to the development, measurement and management of intangible assets is valuable to both business and market regulators. Therefore, we would like to invite you to gather in Warsaw to discuss the latest theories on intangibles and intellectual capital development, and the latest models to measure the value of intangibles. Furthermore, we are interested in practical insights and case studies. Although the workshop is academic in nature, contributions from practice and institutions (such as financial institutions, corporations, regulators and policy makers) are also appreciated.
